Members of Leyton & Leytonstone Historical Society have been motivated by the centenary of the First World War to research what it meant to our area.

An exhibition was prepared about Leytonstone and the First World War

Research was undertaken into those commemorated in the churchyard of St Mary’s Leyton who lost their lives in the First World War
